Water Communion is a UU ritual celebrating our interconnectedness. By bringing individual waters together, we symbolize how our diverse faiths, gifts, and experiences create one beloved community. We will explore Courage—the courage to begin, to let go, to speak, to change, and to hope. We’ll combine our waters in a communal bowl as a symbol of the courage and experiences we share. Bring water from a special place, bring your story, and bring your courage. All are encouraged to participate.
The Service Leader for the ceremony will be Cheryl Kellogg, a UU for 40+ years, retired educator, nature enthusiast, and active in the life of UU Deland. Other congregants will assist in this special UU ritual.
