Celebrating our 250th year of independence, UU Board-at-Large member Jim Dries will present the contributions of Mark Twain (Samuel Longhorne Clemens). Twain was a writer, public speaker, satirist and family man who would have been comfortable at UU services, Men’s Night and Social Justice Team. His influence has been felt from the 19th century and continues today.

Jim was a Peace Corps Volunteer teacher in the 1960s and continued to teach at all levels. He authored A Harsh Mistress: Commies, Cuties, and the CIA.
