Healing from a Place of Brokenness

UU Rev. Andrew L. Weber, Thomas Paine UU Fellowship (PA) minister, encourages us to recognize our brokenness, cracks and scars. The masks we are told to wear are like unbroken jars: perfectly sealed, not letting anything in or out. In reality, we are more like broken jars: some pieces are missing, some are stuck, and some pieces no longer fit. By healing our own brokenness, we can learn to be better at forgiving and connecting with others. Mitzi Dykes will read excerpts from this sermon and from other spiritual teachers on healing. Our Service Leader will be Suzzane Fox.
